Fulfillment Units

Fulfillment Units is one or more physical locations withing an institution that follow the same policies. Fulfillment Units contain physical item locations, as well as the Fulfillment Rules and Fulfillment TOUs that apply to items in those locations. Fulfillment Units can contain multiple physical item locations and multiple Fulfillment Rules, but each rule only has one TOU.

Fulfillment Rules : rules determine when and which Terms of Use should be applied. Each rule has one TOU. Rules can use both patron parameters (user group, job category, campus) and item parameters (location, item policy, etc.).

Terms of Use (TOU) : a group of policies organized by type (Booking, Loan, Request, Borrowing Resource Sharing, Lending Resource Sharing, and User Registration). 

Fulfillment Policy : the specific policy specified in a TOU, which can include due dates, fines, grace periods, etc.
