Add Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to a PDF using the Plustek Book Pavilion

Plustek Book Pavilion: 

 Application: Plustek OCR (click in the drop-down menu) 

 This will automatically add OCR when you click transfer after the scan is completed. 

 There is another option but it will take a while: 

 

 Scan article as normal 

 Click Transfer 

 Open File in Adobe Acrobat 

 Go to the column on the right side and click “Scan & OCR” 

 Go to the new bar at the top (Row that says “Scan & OCR”) 

 Click “Enhance” 

 Click “Scanned Document” 

 

 Make sure the drop-down “Pages” says “All Pages” and that “Recognize text” is checked. 

 

 

 

 

 Click “Enhance” 

 Exit out of document 

 Click “Yes” when it asks to save document 

 Upload document to email/Alma
